about
Hi. My name is Logan Lamprecht. It's hard to know what to say in this space that might be important to you. So, I will tell you what feels important to me, imagining this can provide an initial platform for connecting: (a) I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC 6784, Idaho) and have been providing therapeutic services for the past decade in Cleveland, Ohio, where my wife and I have raised our four children, before making the decision to relocate to familiar landscapes in the western frontier of Idaho, where we are originally from; (b) I obtained my Ph. D., from Kent State University and taught in the graduate counseling program at Cleveland State; (c) I have been an associate faculty at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, where I regularly facilitated personal growth experiences for individuals seeking to live more authentic existences; (d) Specialty areas of practice include working with adolescents and adults, couples and families, LGBTQI client populations, and group practice, and I primarily work from a humanistic framework, drawing from feminism, cognitive based treatment approaches, mindfulness and strive to work relationally and creatively with individuals to work through the "stuckness" that is commonly found with emotional or mental health problems, opening up space for a more meaningful existence. I like to think that my sensitivity, warm curiosity, and genuineness as a person will be qualities you will notice early on if we get the chance to meet. I look forward to connecting with you.
